Most cars manufactured after 2000 are equipped with a transponder "chip" key. Buried into the head of the key, completely out of sight, is a small computer chip. To prevent the vehicle from being stolen, the chip communicates with the PCM in the vehicle to assure that the key is a working, programmed key. We cut and program these transponder "chip" car keys. Dealerships typically charge over $200 per key and most times that doesn't include the excessive programming charge. Most keys that we cut are under $100 INCLUDING the programming fee. Cutting and programming the key takes 10-15 minutes, which can be done while you wait. No appointment needed!
